I learned that DSC and LUYAA, part of the Alliance club, intend to launch a joint rec league and a next tier/classic league together beginning Fall 2014. These seems to be targeted a finding a solution more convenient for northern MoCo/Eastern Frederick/Carroll counties (and an alternative to MSI or the FCYSL) and provide a little more variety for teams in DSC Rec. Still a lot of details to be worked out, it seems. There is also word of a futsal league and new fields to be built north on 27.
